Before we had a co-ordinator for the department of Computer Science, we had an HOD. But he was only there for one year. And thank God for just one year!

Here's something interesting:

Lab Class one day, the HOD was asking Saroj what she wanted to do (careerwise), and Gagan was in the lab class too (not intentionally of course)

HOD: Aage jaake kya banogi? Kya socha hai?

Saroj (all enthu): Sir. Air-hostess banoongi!

HOD (probably after checking her out): Air-hostess!! Baapre!. Arrey air-hostess banne ke liye boddy hona chahiye, figgure hona chahiye. Khudko dekho!

No need to say what Saroj must have thought after that! It was obvious.

Saroj (thinking- she probably tries to think in english too): Oh damn! He doesn't like me at all! Maybe if I turn on my 'charm'. But I'll have to get rid of all the cockroaches in my hair and arm-pits then! Darn.
